Is every garage epoxy the same?

No. Product chemistry, solids content, thickness, preparation requirements, and the layers above and below it can differ significantly. Ask for product names and a layer-by-layer scope.

Will epoxy yellow in sunlight?

Light stability depends on the specific material and exposed topcoat. If sun reaches the floor, make it an explicit design question and ask the installer to explain the selected system’s limitations.

Does epoxy stop concrete moisture?

A coating should not be assumed to solve an unidentified moisture problem. Visible moisture signs and below-grade conditions deserve assessment before a system is selected.

What causes peeling?

Potential contributors include inadequate preparation, contamination, moisture, weak concrete, incompatible layers, application conditions, or use outside the product’s limits. A failure cannot be diagnosed from the material name alone.
